Lauren Booher is a self described renaissance woman and creator. Currently a student at Wheaton College, she uses art to explore and understand the world around her. While working with wood, leather, computers, and epoxy mediums to create, her primary field is visual art. Most often she works with pencil drawing, charcoal, watercolor, and acrylic. She expresses herself, her passions, and her questions through her work. Because art is both idealistic and representational it can convey aspects of life and the mind in a way that no other medium can. Lauren strives to create honest pieces that represent both the beauty of the platonic and chaotic. Ultimately she aims for:
- Technique
- Meaningful process
- Philosophical exploration
- Engaging results
